"Spent" is an ode to those who have experienced the rapidity of time passing themselves by as Connis reflects upon the time he has wasted while also acknowledging a certain hopefulness about the future; he knows he is destined for something special. With aid from an airy synth and campfire-like guitar, we are taken on a nostalgic journey through Connis' life.
